Privacy Policy

JustUs Legal is operated from the State of Florida, USA. We built this app privacy-first: your case content stays on your device. This policy explains what we do and do not collect, and the rights you have — including under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR).
What we collect
- Account email — to secure your membership and sign you in.
- Purchase records — when you buy credits or subscribe, Stripe processes the payment and we store the resulting record (amount, date, expiry, plan). We never see or store your card number.
- Usage metering — the credits each AI action spends (or the count of actions on an unlimited plan), so your balance and fair-use status are accurate.
What we do NOT collect
- Your case details. The facts, documents, and drafts you enter stay on your device for the session. They are not uploaded to our database.
- If you use Save & restore, the copy is encrypted with your passphrase and stored only on your device.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context targeted advertising.
AI processing
To produce an analysis, motion, chat reply, or transcript, the relevant text or file you submit is sent transiently to our AI provider to generate that output, then discarded. It is not used to advertise to you and is not stored on our servers after the response is returned.
Your Florida privacy rights (FDBR)
As a Florida consumer you have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data and access it.
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Delete your personal data.
- Obtain a portable copy of the data you provided.
- Opt out of the sale of personal data and of targeted advertising — though we do neither.
Retention & security
- Account and purchase records are kept while your account is active.
- Deleting your account removes them (see below).
- Data in transit is encrypted; backend records are protected by row-level security so you only ever see your own.
Children
This app is intended for adults handling their own legal matters and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Delete your account & data
You can permanently erase your account, remaining credits, and usage history at any time from Privacy & your data inside the app, or by emailing us. Your on-device case data is separate — clear it anytime from the Case tab.
